Day 28: Porto

 Saturday 28th September.

Strong black Portuguese coffee and custard tart for breakfast.

Heading down to the river so need our energy, even though we are catching the funicular down.

That was better than using the steps

It is early but all ready the river banks are busy

Think we need port for strength

That's 4 before lunch, best eat.

Getting too crowded for us so found a quiet spot near our hotel and just people watched.

Tapas bar for dinner but they did the best Port Tonics

And that is
Dalva dry white port, St Germain, Angostura, Prune bitters and Tonic water.

CHEERS

Day 27: Porto

 Friday 27th September.

So we take the small lanes towards the waterfront. This morning's plan is the Palâcio da Bolsa.

The Stock Exchange Palace is a historical building in Porto, Portugal. The palace was built in the 19th century by the city's Commercial Association in Neoclassical style. It is located in the Infante D. Henrique Square in the historical centre of Porto, designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Well that was impressive, onto looking around and soaking up the atmosphere.

A couple of drinks in the hotel bar

Before we knew it, it was dark out there
