Day 8: Fez

 Sunday September 8th

Welcome to Fez.

First stop the main area of the modern Medina.

Still early and the locals were still on their first coffee. We walk the newer markets

We nip up to the local look out to get an idea of just how big this city is

As you can see by many of the pictures tiles drive the appearance of how the place looks, so of to a tile factory to see how they are made.

End results are great.

Now onto the old Souk, what a maze of shops and industries.

Industries like leather! Even the tannery is on site.

Metal work is also impressive

But the best part was just walking though the maze of small lanes.

And there were carpet shops

Great day which we finished of at a local  restaurant with local entertainment.
